Berlin, who is May's daughter, most recently appeared on the Gotham stage off-Broadway in her mother's Adult Entertaint. She has also appeared off-Broadway in MTC's production of Power Plays an evening of one acts, two written by May and one penned by Alan Arkin and Price of Fame. She earned a Best Actress in a Supporting Role Academy Award nomination for her performance in The Heartbreak Kid. Her other film credits include Getting Straight, Move, Portnoy's Complaint and Bone.
Kerwin is another MTC alum, having appeared in the company's production of Emily for which he won a Theatre World Award and Glimmer, Glimmer & Shine. His other off-Broadway credits include Lips Together, Teeth Apart, One Shoe Off and Raised in Captivity. His sole Broadway credit is the 1997 revival of The Little Foxes. Kerwin's film credits include Getting Wasted, Murphy's Romance, King Kong Lives, Torch Song Trilogy, Hard Promises, Love Field, Getting Away with Murder, Jack, The Myth of Fingerprints and Mr. Jealousy. He was also the star of the acclaimed TV series Beggars and Choosers.
After the Night and the Music is an evening of three one-acts about life in the new millennium, including an overweight chorus boy's longing to dance, married couples longing for sex and aging singles looking for love.
The play, directed by Daniel Sullivan, is scheduled to run at the Biltmore Theatre from April 28 through July 3.
